Justice System Services

Sioux Rivers contracts with Flowstate to provide medication management services for individuals who are currently incarcerated and in need of a Psychiatric Evaluation and ongoing medication management services. Inmates who are experiencing a mental health crisis or are identified as needing medication management services are eligible to be seen. Service Coordinators work closely with regional jail staff to identify need and authorize medication management services. Sioux Rivers also assists in purchasing medications prescribed by Flowstate to ensure continuity of care upon release.

Jail Diversion services' purpose is to ensure that individuals in Sioux Rivers regional jails have the opportunity to engage in mental health/substance use and basic needs services upon reentry into the community from jail. Service Coordinators provide coordination of reentry services for identified individuals in the jail population, the program strives to partner with law enforcement to reduce jail recidivism, improve outcomes for individuals served, and improve coordination between community services and jails.
